The city of Seal Beach sits along the coast as the gateway to Orange County - between the cities of Long Beach and Huntington Beach. With a population of 24,098, Seal Beach celebrated its 85th anniversary in October 2000. Governed by an elected five member council, Seal Beach has retained its quaint, small-town atmosphere. Seal Beach is the home of Leisure World, a gated senior citizen community of approximately 7,000 to 10,000 persons. The Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station comprises 2/3 of the land within the City.
Seal Beach truly has something for everyone...
Seal Beach is one of the last neighborhood beaches where gentle sea breezes and long strolls along the beach during sunset are the favorite pastimes. The natural beauty of Seal Beach, its mild climate, colorful history and convenient location make it a place worth calling home.
A short 20 minute drive takes you to Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm, and only a 5 minute drive takes you to the new Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
Centrally located, Seal Beach is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and buy a new home!
